The history of Hoppe Advocacia begins more than a half century ago with attorney Mário Daniel Hoppe, in Passo Fundo. His vocation for law and his link with the land were the legacies transmitted to the following generations. His son, Marcel Esquivel Hoppe, imbued with his father’s values, principles and legal expertise, worked as a magistrate in several judicial districts of the interior of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, and retired as a Court of Appeals Judge. The return to the legal profession and the expansion to Porto Alegre came with the third generation, represented by Wellington Hoppe.

The firm’s office is located at Marechal Deodoro Square, in the Historical Center of Porto Alegre, also known as Praça dos Três Poderes (Square of Three Powers). Court of Appeals Judge, he came to Porto Alegre to assume the Children and Youth Court, during which period he received the Child and Peace Award from UNICEF. He worked as a magistrate for 44 years in Rio Grande do Sul, where he was trial court judge in the judicial districts of Sarandi, Carazinho, Passo Fundo and Porto Alegre. He is native of Passo Fundo, where he exercised the legal profession and was professor at the Law School of Passo Fundo since 1967. He was also an invited professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, the State Civil Police Academy and Military Police Academy.

He is a technical-scientific consultant of the Brazilian Association of Magistrates and Justice Agents for Children and Youth (ABMP). He is also part of the staff of consultants of the State of Roraima, the Paraguayan Senate, he was professor in El Salvador and advisor in the Uruguayan Supreme Court. During his period as a court of appeals judge, he launched the book Estatuto Passado a Limpo e Intervenção Técnica (Statute Made Clean and Technical Intervention).

Attorney Wellington Hoppe was born in Passo Fundo. Before entering the legal market, he studied marketing and started a food distribution company, FH Comércio e Representação de Alimentos Ltda, in Manaus, Amazonas, which guarantees a unique expertise in corporate law. He was Director of the Human Resources Department of the Court of Appeals of the State of Roraima (TJRR), where he contributed to the achievement of the Judiciário Mais Forte Award (Strongest Judicial Power), granted by the Association of Magistrates of Brazil to TJRR as the best Brazilian Court of Justice. After being part of other law firms of Porto Alegre, he founded Hoppe Advocacia in 2011, where he has worked exclusively since then.

Native of Dois Irmãos, attorney Aline Führ Molling studied at Unisinos. Her professional career has gone through the experience in the Junior Achievement program, and she was the president of her company. She worked at the Police Station of Dois Irmãos, the 2nd Circuit Court for Civil Matters of the Judicial District of Novo Hamburgo and the Public Defender’s Office of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, and today she works at Hoppe Advocacia guaranteeing the dynamism of actions and permanent update of the subject.
